Welcome to the Parish of St Peter Le Poer

St Peter's Church is alive and well and online! - But all public services are currently suspended and the church building is now closed due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic

A service will be streamed on facebook on Sundays at 11.00am

(click here to go to the facebook page and scroll down) - The service order is listed here in the weekly bulletin section

You can also listen to a recording of the latest sermon by dialling 020 8106 0748 (This is a free local number in London)

The Church of England freephone telephone line is also now available

Please click here to read our response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and get access to online resources to support and encourage while we are unable to meet together

So may I encourage you to ‘cast all your anxiety on him’ in prayer. You could do this in short prayers throughout the day or you could spend some time at the beginning or end of each day of this crisis, on your own or together with your family or housemates, to give this crisis over to our Lord.  You could read through Psalm 23 which reminds us that our Good Shepherd, Jesus, is with us as we walk ‘though the valley of the shadow of death’. Or perhaps use this amplified version of the Lord’s Prayer or use these prayers from Paul's letters

St Peter Le Poer is the Parish Church for much of Colney Hatch Lane, leading down from Muswell Hill to Friern Barnet, and the surrounding area.

We are part of of the Church of England, and everyone is welcome whatever their background.

Please come and join us at our Parish Communion on Sunday at 11am and stay for refreshments afterwards – children are welcome and have their own activities during the service.

We hope this website tells you more about who we are, what we believe, how we worship, and other ways we try to meet the needs of our diverse community.
