On a bright, sunny morning on Sunday 21 March 2010, Bishop Peter came to sing the Mass and to re-dedicate the newly restored War Memorial. The people moved in procession from the Church to the Garden of Remembrance, where the Bishop blessed the Crucifix, prayed for the dead of the two World Wars and for Peace.
